Ulla Eyewear is not your average eyewear store. At Ulla, we don’t have a team of salespeople – we have a team of highly qualified and educated opticians ready to welcome you and find your best vision.
Our team handpicks each frame we carry, often working with the manufacturer to customize colors and sizing. We pride ourselves on our eyewear selection, and work to ensure it remains both refined and comprehensive – diverse enough to meet wide-ranging needs, yet unwavering in quality.
Just as our frames are crafted with the utmost care and precision, our team knows that quality service requires commitment down to the finest details. Since everyone’s visual, stylistic, and budgetary needs vary greatly, we provide each of our customers with a tailored experience (of which no two are identical).
Bearing this in mind, here’s a general framework of what you can expect when working with us to find a new pair of glasses:
- The first step in our process is meeting with an optician for an expert eyewear styling. You’re welcome to schedule an appointment for this process, or just stop in to browse; neither choice requires money down or any commitment to buy. We can offer as much or as little guidance throughout this process as you wish – while we will always let you know what frames technically fit and perform best with your features and love offering our stylistic expertise, we’re ultimately here to support your decisions and direction!
- Since we don’t have an eye doctor on staff, we accept prescriptions from any provider (and are happy to make recommendations if you need an exam)! If you don’t have a copy, no sweat – we’ll call your provider and have them fax over your prescription.
- After choosing your frame, you’ll work with an optician to select your lenses. We offer a variety of lens packages – both sun and ophthalmic, single vision and progressive – and can order specialty lenses if you have particular preferences or needs. We’ll also walk you through a variety of customizable features that can enhance your vision and help you meet your specific lifestyle demands!
- This next part is always the trickiest – the wait! After placing your order, it generally takes about three weeks to complete your glasses. We’ll update you if anything changes along the way, and let you know as soon as they pass our final quality check.
- Once they’re ready, you’ll meet with an optician to pick up your glasses. At that time, they’ll make any adjustments needed to ensure the frame feels comfortable and explain your warranty coverage. Once you leave, we’ll follow up with you periodically to ensure everything is still feeling great – if you need to make any changes, we’re more than happy to help!
